Stephen W. Lutche is a shareholder of Gessner, Snee, Mahoney & Lutche, P.A. He is a graduate of John Carroll High School and Western Maryland College and obtained his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Steve is a former Assistant County Attorney for Harford County and has over 18 years of legal experience. He has concentrated his practice over the last 14 years on land development matters, contracts, estate planning and corporate representation. He represents clients in commercial and residential construction projects, contract negotiations, leasing, and general real estate matters. Steve’s practice also involves considerable emphasis on estate planning, including wills, trusts, and estate administration. His business practice includes the acquisition or sale of a business, the formation of business entities, and business licensing and regulatory matters. Finally, Steve appears regularly before state and local administrative agencies regarding development projects, zoning matters and liquor licenses.

Steve is admitted to practice law before the Harford County Bar, the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Steve is active in many civic and community activities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors or advisory Board for several non-profit and/or charitable organizations. Steve is a former Board member for Home Partnership, Inc. and has served as counsel to the Annie McGann Cumpston Playground Foundation, Inc., Susana de Moya Educational Foundation, Inc. and Kids for Concerts & Causes, Inc. Steve is also the Chairperson of the Harford County Property Tax Assessment Appeal Board and is a committee member of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, Cecil County Chapter. He has previously served as a Vice Chairperson for the American Heart Association’s Annual Harford Gala, a member on the Task Force on the Future Growth of Harford County and a member of the Harford County Environmental Advisory Board. Steve also volunteers as a coach for the Fallston Recreation Soccer, Basketball and Baseball Programs. He is also a member of St. Margaret Church. Steve resides in Fallston with his wife, Lucy, and their two children, Brigitte and Stephen.
