Mrs. Helmlinger is a shareholder in Gessner, Snee, Mahoney & Lutche, P.A. Mrs. Helmlinger has over 25 years of legal experience, 9 years as a legal assistant and 16 years as an attorney. She concentrates her practice in corporate acquisitions, commercial lending, non-profit organizations and real estate. She currently represents clients in contract negotiations, business and real estate acquisitions, stock and asset purchases, general business formations and related transactions, 1023 applications for tax exemption, representation of local homeowners associations, and commercial financing. Mrs. Helmlinger’s practice involves considerable emphasis on commercial real estate acquisition and development and residential real estate acquisitions. She assists Harford County’s Revolving Loan Fund, Inc. in connection with gap financing for entrepreneurs, start-up companies and existing businesses interested in further growth and expansion throughout Harford County.

Mrs. Helmlinger is active in various civic, charitable and community activities and has supported several recent political campaigns for re-election of sitting judges, the Harford County Executive and the Governor. She is admitted to practice before the Harford County Bar, the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is also a member of the Baltimore Harford Entrepreneurs Club. She is a member of St. Margaret’s Church and supports many of the charitable efforts of the parish. Mrs. Helmlinger is a member of St. Margaret’s Home School Association and she volunteers at its annual events. She has most recently served on the Board of Directors for Home Partnership, Inc. and also the Rockfield Foundation, Inc., both 501(c)(3) organizations. She has previously served as a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Baltimore Alumni Association of which she is currently a member. Before joining the firm in Harford County, she served as Chair of the Law Liaison Committee and as Chair of the Public Education Committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City. Mrs. Helmlinger resides in Bel Air with her husband, Walter and their two children, Alex and Katie.
