Mr. Gessner is the President and a shareholder in Gessner, Snee, Mahoney & Lutche, P.A. Since 1982 Mr. Gessner has represented clients in zoning and land use matters, commercial and residential real estate, corporate law, wills, estates and trusts, estate administration and related litigation. He has obtained many zoning and subdivision approvals of all kinds for local, regional and national clients in Harford County, the Town of Bel Air, the City of Aberdeen, the City of Havre de Grace and various municipalities in Cecil County. He also devotes a substantial portion of his practice to the formation of homeowners and condominium associations.

Mr. Gessner is listed in “Maryland Super Lawyers” 2008.

Mr. Gessner was a speaker at the MICPEL Land Use Institute in 1989 and 1997 and a member of the Trial Courts Nominating Commission from 1992 to 1994.

He has been active in many civic and community activities. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Faith Communities and Civic Agencies United, Inc., a non profit corporation which provides services to homeless individuals. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Homebuilders Association of Maryland. He has recently been appointed to the Aberdeen Stadium Authority. Previously, he was the President of the Harford County Bar Foundation and the Harford County Chamber of Commerce; he is a member of the Chamber’s Hall of Fame. Mr. Gessner was honored as one of Harford County’s Most Beautiful People for his volunteer work in the Mock Trial Program at Edgewood High School. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Harford Leadership Academy, was a member of the Harford County Public Works Advisory Board and is a charter member of Harford Business for Responsible Government. A graduate of Bel Air High School, Mr. Gessner resides in Bel Air with his wife, Anne, a certified public accountant.
